The Implementation of Jingle Button with Gallery Walk (JB-GW) Model in Developing English Competence Economic Faculty Students of Tidar University

The purpose of this exploratory mixed method research is to describe the implementation of Jingle Button with Gallery Walk (JB-GW) Model in developing  English competence of the Economic Faculty students of Tidar University (Untidar).  This study employed in-depth interviews and on-site observation in collecting the data of the effectiveness of this model in developing the students’ creativity in learning English. In addition to that, the writer used English test to know the improvement of the students in English mastery. Following Milles and Hubberman’s theory (1994), the writer analyzed the data through data reduction, data display, conclusion, and verification. The triangulation was employed in checking the validity of the data. The results show that the implementation of Jingle Button with Gallery Walk (JB-GW) Model is an effective way to develop the students’ creativity in learning English and the English competence of Economic Faculty students of Untidar. It can be seen from two indicators.  The first, it can be seen from the students’ creativity in learning English.The second is from English competence of the students.
